Year in Review 2023

3 Years Already?!?!

Its hard for us to believe that this is the third year of our Annual Year In Review.

This past year has been a great building block towards our goal of providing an exceptional customer service experience as a local surety bond agency.

Thanks for taking a look and for your support!

Out And About

Despite the exciting changes and growth, we still made time to do what we love – getting out and meeting with our clients and industry partners.  That’s what makes this business so great.

New (Reunited) Staff!

Earlier this year, we welcomed our first hires and new employees to District Bonding.

For those of you that know Kim Rose and Rachel Blackmore, you know how excellent of a reputation they have and how much we’ve come to rely on them for their responsiveness and excellent customer service.

We are so fortunate to have Kim and Rachel on the District Bonding Team!

If you haven’t already, reach out and say hey to Kim and Rachel and welcome them to the team!

Kim Rose has over 13 years of experience, working for a bond-only agency before joining us as Senior Account Manager.
Rachel Blackmore joined us as Bond Account Manager after spending 3 years working for another bond-only agency.

Giving Back To The Community

On September 20, 2023, District Bonding sponsored the United Way of the National Capital Area Loudoun Regional Council Golf Outing.

We were happy to see quite a bit of growth this year, with over 150 industry partners (surety companies, CPAs, bankers and contractors) attending the event.

Joshua Etemadi is Chair of the Council and the event raised over $55,000 to support UWNCA’s efforts in Loudoun County!  This year, raffle items included bourbon, wineries, golf and self-care experiences for everyone to enjoy.  The auction for a 12 person Tomahawk Ribeye Experience was a treat to watch take place!

This year, funds raised from the event are going to Loudoun Education Foundations FUELED program.  Many grade school children are food insecure, which means the only meal they get is their meal at school.  Kids will get a backpack filled with food to keep them full over the weekend and return them to school energized and ready to learn!

If you weren’t able to make it, we hope you can make it out to next year’s event!

The Big Dig

2023 marks the second year District Bonding has been a sponsor and planning committee member of the Big Dig, an event raising money and awareness for pediatric cancer research.

We are particularly fond of the event as it brings the local construction community together for a day of giving beyond just the fundraising!

Employees and owners show up to volunteer their time helping kids (and grown-ups) operate mini-excavators, ride scissor lifts and dig in the sand for prizes and goodies!  Our kids certainly loved it

This year, we raised over $110,000 towards pediatric cancer research.

Final Thoughts

In the bonding world, relationships are everything. These relationships take time and we look forward to the opportunity to working with you.

We’re now having conversations with business-owners that we initially connected with when we just got started nearly three years ago. And that’s okay with us! 🙂

We hope that you’ll keep us in mind when that opportunity presents itself, and we look forward to providing that excellent customer service you expect.

As we approach the end of the year, we want to thank all of you for your support and belief in us from the very beginning.  We look forward to the year ahead in 2024 and wish you the very best!

Happy Holidays and Happy Bonding!
